As a Project and Development Services Intern, you will support the Project Manager and wider project team in the day-to-day delivery of construction and fit-out projects across Vietnam. This is a hands-on role that provides exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle.

Administration Support

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including Project Delivery Plans, Monthly Status Reports, and Anticipated Cost Reports.
  • Support preparation of meeting agendas, presentation materials, and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized project files and document management systems (SharePoint, Project Toolkit).
  • Track and follow up on outstanding actions from meetings and maintain action logs.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of RFP documents, purchase orders, and variation documentation.
  • Help maintain up-to-date risk registers and project programmes.

Coordination Support

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of information and approvals.
  • Assist the Project Manager in liaising with clients and internal JLL teams on day-to-day project matters.
  • Support scheduling and logistics for site visits, inspections, and project meetings.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, flagging potential delays to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with procurement coordination, including tracking tender submissions and vendor correspondence.

Site Visits & Reporting

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction and fit-out progress on behalf of the project team.
  • Take photographs on site to document progress, quality, and any issues observed.
  • Prepare clear and structured site visit reports, including photographic evidence and written observations.
  • Record and report on health, safety, and environmental conditions observed on site.
  • Identify and escalate any quality or safety concerns to the supervising Project Manager.

Minutes of Meeting

  • Attend project meetings (weekly project meetings, PCG meetings, design reviews) and take accurate minutes.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes in a timely manner following each meeting.
  • Maintain a log of meeting action items and track completion status.
  • Ensure minutes are filed appropriately within the project document management system.

Key skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to take clear, concise, and accurate meeting minutes.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working on construction sites and conducting site visits.
  • Eye for detail when reviewing documents and photographic records.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.

Employee specification

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • No prior work experience required; previous internship or part-time exposure to the construction or real estate industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Vietnamese and English.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with project management software is a plus.
  • Ability to commit to the full internship duration and attend site visits as required.
