About the role:
The primary role of the Project Coordinator is to coordinate high level project needs including basic scheduling, status reporting, financial and risk tracking. This role is responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables are submitted within deadlines while maintaining strong working relationships with project teams, process owners, and shared service members to improve overall project performance and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage coordination amongst project team members to ensure proper coordination between different departments and timely submission of deliverables.
Conduct regular planning and status meetings with project teams as needed to track progress and identify challenges.
Effectively utilize and leverage IT PMO practices, procedures, and supporting tools for multiple projects concurrently.
Identify and present project teams and sponsors with solutions to everyday project challenges and risks.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to support and improve project delivery and performance.
Associates (2-yr) degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in project with a strong understanding of systems architectures and business processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead project-related activities with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment for issue escalation.
Knowledge of stakeholder management principles and core communication principles including verbal, written, and visual.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous learning and emotional intelligence.
