The Cards Programme BU within CXO Office is currently engaged on two major fronts:

1. Maintaining and Managing ongoing Cards Projects - ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous enhancement of our current payments ecosystem.
2. Driving the Strategic Cards Program, a parallel Group wide transformation initiative shaping the next generation of digital payment capabilities.

This opportunity offers the chance to join the Cards Programme BU, reporting to the Group CXO (Chief Experience Officer), as a Project Analyst supporting our ongoing Strategic Cards Projects. The role is ideal for individuals who are motivated to contribute to the accuracy, integrity, and security of payment flows across our current business platforms, while helping strengthen the foundation for future digital payment capabilities.

Job vacancy: Project Analyst

You will be responsible for translating business requirements into detailed and comprehensive functional specifications, ensuring the development team has full visibility of the business context required to design and deliver appropriate solutions. The role also includes leading and coordinating end to end testing activities to validate that implemented functionalities meet defined requirements, operate effectively, and support end to end payment flows.

In this role you will,

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and manage priorities;
  • Collaborate with the technical team throughout the delivery process and ensure that the team understands the project requirements and is on track to deliver the desired customer experience;
  • Facilitate collaboration and interactions with relevant stakeholders at each stage of the project to ensure customer needs are met;
  • Undertake process analysis to identify areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness across the entire customer journey;
  • Co-create solutions with Payments Managers / Team Leads to meet SBU objectives;
  • Ensure proper Change Management during post roll out (e.g. providing system training, assistance in case of issues during post roll out like handling bugs);
  • Conduct full end to end testing cycle with Quality Assurance team's involvement to ensure that they are built according to specifications;
  • Identify, elicit, and document project/process requirements, using appropriate modelling technique;
  • Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support the development of effective working relationships for projects and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.

To succeed, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies:

We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of


Either

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 3 years’ working experience as business analyst, business consultant, project or functional analyst, QA analyst, on cards projects (i.e. implementation or upgrades of banking systems).


Or

  • A Diploma in Computer Science or related field;
  • 5 years’ working experience on cards projects.


A combination of both qualifications and experience will also be considered.


You will be required to demonstrate

  • Knowledge of cards ecosystem and cards lifecycle management;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables under tight deadlines.

You will also be required to demonstrate:

  • Understanding and Familiarity with card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, etc.);
  • Project management skills;
  • Some knowledge of banking systems such as Temenos T24, or card processing systems, or certain related ecosystems;
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
