The Project Analyst serves as a critical link between Operations and Finance, providing analytical support and financial oversight across active projects. This role is responsible for data gathering, cost analysis, reporting, and operational coordination to drive project performance and ensure financial accuracy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction and mechanical services environment.

Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Report on project financial performance, including data gathering, cost analysis, and reporting on consolidated results.
• Ensure all change orders are entered into ERP to ensure all costs and revenues are captured.
• Prepare, analyze, and report on project financial performance in monthly CTC (Cost to Complete) meetings.
• Run monthly CTC meetings with the project operations team.
• Overhead spend analysis.
• Divvy review and analysis.
Project Operations Support
• Assist project accountants and the operations team with various tasks as needed.
• Support Project Managers with project issues, access, and related coordination.
• Support field staff and invite them to projects where Project Sight access is needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for field staff issues, including card signing, logging in, and troubleshooting.
• Assist new hires with an introduction to Project Sight and facilitate access to applicable systems.
• Monitor and support the Samsara GPS Reporting and Timesheet comparison processes.
• Assist with Project Accountant Training support.
• Coordinate with senior operations leadership to support ongoing field initiatives.
Administrative and Coordination
• Process Company Credit Card Receipt approvals for field personnel (roughly 30 to 40 per pay period).
• Assist and handle hotel requests and approvals above the $150 per night threshold.
• Approve and route hotel stays that exceed the threshold to the appropriate handoff person.
• Coordinate Operations Training and on-site/off-site meeting scheduling, including itinerary, food, event launch, and activity planning.
• Coordinate rental equipment quote sheets and request yearly updated rates from UR, HERC, and similar vendors.
• Support the streamlining of processes between GA, TX, and other PAs.
• Assist with Field Operations Senior Superintendent Training (support Gary, Robert, and others as needed).
• Maintain and continue tracking project awards, design activities, contracts, and multi-department meeting tracking.
• Manpower forecasting and consolidation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Strong financial and analytical skills.
· Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel; experience with ERP or project management platforms preferred.
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and field staff.
· Experience with project financial coaching and best practices in managing project finances.
· Familiarity with GPS reporting tools and timesheet management systems is a plus.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
• 5 or more years of related work experience in a project finance, operations, or analytical role.
• Experience in construction, mechanical services, or a project-based industry strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Able to communicate in person and by telephone.
• Reach with hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Use hands (fingers) and arms (shoulders) for extended computer or administrative work.
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
