Job Description

Seymour Whyte is delivering Coomera Connector Stage 1 South, a key infrastructure project improving transport links between Logan City and the Gold Coast. By building additional crossings over the Coomera and Nerang Rivers, this stage will ease congestion on the M1 and provide residents in growing areas such as Helensvale and Coomera with an alternative route.

Join our project team as a Project Administrator, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the project’s commercial function. You’ll be involved in job costing and invoicing, while also assisting with site logistics, documentation and reporting to keep operations running smoothly. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a team environment.

About the role:

  • Accurately verify and input delivery dockets, purchase orders, subcontractor details, timesheets and invoices into the job costing system
  • Support procurement processes to ensure timely supply of materials and services for site operations
  • Maintain up-to-date registers for vehicles, plant, equipment and staff leave records
  • Assist with managing progress claims and subcontractor payment schedules, including the preparation of certificates
  • Draft and compile project-related correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and presentations
  • Coordinate and organise project meetings, events and associated logistics
  • Complete general project administration tasks as required

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in administrative roles within the civil construction industry, with exposure to job costing, purchasing and accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and job costing systems (e.g. Connect or Xeno)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and team-focused approach

Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.

We have a range of benefits available for our employee:

  • Generous leave benefits including a purchased leave program, paid parental leave and birthday leave – have your birthday off on us!
  • Employee share program, providing the opportunity to invest in the long-term success of the business
  • Structured career pathways with opportunities for global mobility
  • Leadership development programs and one-on-one mentoring to support professional growth
  • Employee recognition and awards that acknowledge contribution and achievement
  • Fitness, wellbeing, shopping and banking benefits, including discounts through WHEREFIT (gyms, meal plans, fitness brands), Flare, and CommBank, plus everyday financial discounts
