Job Description

Wood is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our on-site construction team based full time on our client site in Lancashire. This role is essential to the smooth running of daily operations, supporting project delivery and ensuring compliance with UK construction standards and company procedures.

As the project administrator, you will work closely with the Construction manager, Superintendents and wider operational teams to provide administrative support across all stages of this project. You will be based on-site and act as a central point of coordination for documentation, reporting and communication.

P&E offers a wide range of opportunities which will allow you to develop your skills across a portfolio of onshore projects in different sectors. Additionally, we work on UK refineries, petrochemical facilities, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical facilities. We have a number of clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full scale commercial facilities.

  • Daily Site Support – Provide hands on administrative assistance to the construction team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and quick resolution of on-site needs
  • Document Management – Maintain up-to date records including permits, RAMS, timesheets, inductions, change requests and toolbox talks, ensuring everything is accessible and compliant
  • Team coordination – Support the construction manager and team by organising schedules, tracking progress and helping coordinate subcontractors and deliveries
  • HSE Administration – Assist with safety documentation, incident reporting and ensuring the team meets UK Health and safety standards
  • Communication Hub – Act as the central point of contact for internal updates, visitor management and communication between site and office teams
  • Reporting and Record keeping – Prepare concise weekly updates, meeting minutes and site activity logs to support project visibility and decision making
