Leidos is seeking a Project Administrator in our Honolulu, HI office, supporting our electric utility design engineering teams. This role provides essential on-site technical administrative and coordination support to the Distribution Engineering teams, with Client interactions. The successful candidate should be able to manage multiple ongoing priorities, be well organized and communicate well between stakeholders. The Project Administrator should have an interest and passion for developing processes, noticing details, standardizing procedures/forms, and organization. Project work may include administrative duties, technical processes and information gathering as well as coordinate meetings and schedules. Assignments may include updating Customer systems, reporting on technical topics, developing file storage and organization procedures, printing and combining files to deliver job packages, and other related miscellaneous tasks

The successful Project Administrator candidate will support the following activities under supervision of the Engineering Manager:

  • Support Hawaii office Engineering teams as needed for various non-technical duties related to technical work.

  • Research Client procedures and assist Engineering team in developing standard procedures and processes for prompt delivery of work product and requested updates to Client. Procedures are administrative/procedural in nature and do not involve technical understanding of work.

  • Routine updates to Client systems as directed by Engineering Manager in support of program execution.

  • Able to self-manage routine tasks on daily, weekly, monthly cadence as directed and following provided processes.

  • Technical tasks may include navigating SAP and creating, updating, and managing WOs as outlined in project process documents for Engineering team to utilize and/or updating Leidos internal workflow management system with project information.

  • Organizing information and files (electronic and hard copy) for past and present projects using procedures outlined by Client and/or Leidos.

  • Develop and organize shared tracking files as needed for items such as annual trainings, certifications, and/or access requests.

  • Coordinate and support office facilities for local and visiting Leidos employees.

  • Off hours availability during peak work times and storm restoration administrative support.

  • Travel to sites/Customer meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent.

  • One plus (1+) years of prior relevant experience in an administrative role preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail for accuracy in documentation and accounting of all deliverables.

  • Ability to work in indoor/ outdoor environments.

  • Ability to utilize personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience

  • Jira experience

  • Power BI experience

  • College-level Associates or 4-year Bachelor’s degree

Pay Range:

Pay Range $35,100.00 - $63,450.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
