Job Description

Island Gold Mine is located near Dubreuilville in Northwestern Ontario and is an underground gold mine operation. With the company's focus on this flagship operation, there are transformational development plans at Island Gold to position the mine for future growth by unlocking the value of the Resource extension at depth. Project Administrator

Reporting to the Expansion Project Controls Manager the Project Administrative Assistant will provide assistance with project control functions; including management of invoices and project registers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive all project invoices, complete initial checks, and coding, and manage workflow for approvals through submission to accounts payable for payment.
  • Maintain project registers for all project invoices.
  • Maintain project contacts list.
  • Input requisitions for project expenditures.
  • Review project commitments to ensure close out of open commitments in collaboration with Cost Control and Supply Chain.
  • Manage receipt of material packing slips and matching to material invoices in collaboration with Logistics Coordinators.
  • Develop and maintain project labour outlook for purposes of camp loading requirements.
  • Create a group calendar for tracking of Team vacation and work offsite.
  • Assist with onboarding of contractors when required.
  • Create, maintain, and update project data spreadsheets as required.
  • Management of office supplies.
  • Other tasks as required.
