Job Description:

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will assist Project Managers, Engineers and Leaders in various administrative tasks in order to provide high class service to our clients.

Essential Functions

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and technical managers throughout the project life cycle
  • Prepare and edit professional documentation, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and other correspondence
  • Project set-up, project close-out, processing purchase orders, processing invoices, and working with project managers on other project related tasks
  • Perform Administration Assistant duties to support management with client related tasks and per the Orbital Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Assist in maintaining QMS compliance with project related files
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders on projects
  • Assist in preparing project status reports

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Three years of administrative experience, preferably in the AEC industry
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and provide administrative support to teams

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Previous Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint experience

Location Note:

This is a remote position. Compensation is based on market data and internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s location.

Salary Range:

$21.00 - 26.00 hourly / $45,000-55,000 annually (based on experience, qualifications, and location)
