Are you a dedicated financial professional with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy? William A. Randolph, Inc., a reputable general contractor based in Gurnee, IL, is seeking a Project Accountant to take charge of our project accounting activities. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks and support critical projects, ensuring every financial component aligns with our standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full scope of project accounting, including preparation and distribution of financial draws, waiver processing, and timely reporting
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy in close-outs, accruals, and percentage of completion tracking
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractor pay applications, advances, disbursements, and related paperwork to maintain seamless financial flow
  • Perform reconciliations for general ledgers, conduct draw analyses, and manage monthly reconciliations to support project financial health
  • Collaborate on special projects and provide office support as needed to maintain smooth daily operations, taking on additional tasks to enhance financial accuracy and project success

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry or a project-based role
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially in Outlook, Excel, and Word, for effective communication and data management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills to ensure accuracy and maintain high standards in financial reporting
