The Project Accountant plays an active role in the financial close process, supporting both revenue and cost functions. Responsibilities include a mix of transactional processing, reporting, reconciliation, and review, with opportunities for financial analysis. The position will require a willingness to learn. It will also require the ability to succeed in a team environment, a propensity to meet strict deadlines, and a solid work ethic. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization is necessary. The position would be a good fit for someone with strong processing experience looking to broaden their skill set and gain experience in analysis. You will report to the Director of Project Accounting working with the Project Accounting team. You will work on site in Mount Airy, NC.
