​​The Project Accountant is responsible for completing pay applications and assisting with billing. This person will work in direct support of the Accounting Manager.​

Essential Functions

  • ​​Assist with billing, specifically in regard to Locklear/Rogers projects
  • ​Reconcile jobs
  • ​Change order research and help get change orders for all salesmen
  • ​Proper project close out
  • ​Comsense reports, cleaning up WIP and sales orders
  • ​Research back charges, missing material, change orders, etc.
  • ​Other relative duties as assigned​

Minimum Qualifications

  • ​​​Associates’ degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • ​Experience in both construction and accounting related positions preferred
  • ​Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test​​

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • ​​Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
  • ​Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
  • ​Strong written and verbal communication skills are also critical​

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require business travel.
