About the role

The Tennis Program & Operations Coordinator is the face of the Darwin International Tennis Centre “DITC” from a cluband coaching operations perspective.This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day promotion and operations of all programs – from Pickleball, socialtennis, to the kids’ Hot Shots program, and more.

The role is focused on driving the growth of Darwin International Tennis Centre through creating a welcoming and inclusiveatmosphere and by applying their knowledge of the club pathway and offerings across tennis in the NT – in all personalinteractions whether they are face-to-face,over thephone or online.

In this role you will:

• Deliver tennis in a variety of environmentsacross all levels e.g.schoolprograms as well asadultlessonsat DITC.

• Be a welcoming, positive, and reliable representative for Tennis andother sports offered at the club.

• Promote the DITC pathway and the products on offer for participantsat all levels.

• Oversee the administration of attendance and class billing, ensuring information isup to date and clearly communicated to customers.

• Create and update content and marketing collateral for the club(posters, social media posts, web content)

• Provide assistanceduring major DITC/TennisNT events,e.g.,staffing thecaféandassisting with generalplayer services

About you

To be successful in this role you willhave

• Tennis Australia Trainee Coach qualification (orcommitment to complete this)

• Senior First Aid including CPR (or commitment tocomplete this)

• Good understanding of the Australian tennis system,including Tennis Australia coaching pathways, HotShots, Cardio Tennis, and participation programs

• Preparednessto support proactivelyacross theTennis NTteam

• Understanding of Tennis products and brandsincluding racquets strings and accessories

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Checkand Working with Children Check

• Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with TennisNT
