About the role
The Tennis Program & Operations Coordinator is the face of the Darwin International Tennis Centre “DITC” from a cluband coaching operations perspective.This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day promotion and operations of all programs – from Pickleball, socialtennis, to the kids’ Hot Shots program, and more.
The role is focused on driving the growth of Darwin International Tennis Centre through creating a welcoming and inclusiveatmosphere and by applying their knowledge of the club pathway and offerings across tennis in the NT – in all personalinteractions whether they are face-to-face,over thephone or online.
In this role you will:
Deliver tennis in a variety of environmentsacross all levels e.g.schoolprograms as well asadultlessonsat DITC.
Be a welcoming, positive, and reliable representative for Tennis andother sports offered at the club.
Promote the DITC pathway and the products on offer for participantsat all levels.
Oversee the administration of attendance and class billing, ensuring information isup to date and clearly communicated to customers.
Create and update content and marketing collateral for the club(posters, social media posts, web content)
Provide assistanceduring major DITC/TennisNT events,e.g.,staffing thecaféandassisting with generalplayer services
About you
To be successful in this role you willhave
Tennis Australia Trainee Coach qualification (orcommitment to complete this)
Senior First Aid including CPR (or commitment tocomplete this)
Good understanding of the Australian tennis system,including Tennis Australia coaching pathways, HotShots, Cardio Tennis, and participation programs
Preparednessto support proactivelyacross theTennis NTteam
Understanding of Tennis products and brandsincluding racquets strings and accessories
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Checkand Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with TennisNT
