
A growing nonprofit organization is seeking a dedicated Programs & Events Manager to oversee and execute a wide range of family programs, community events, and fundraising initiatives. This role is responsible for end-to-end event planning and execution, with some flexibility in office hours and occasional availability required outside regular hours.
Responsibilities Include:
Plan and execute family programs, community events, and fundraising events
Oversee events from concept through on-site execution
Manage logistics, vendors, timelines, and event budgets
Coordinate carnivals, holiday events, dinners, and support groups
Collaborate with the social media team to ensure clear messaging and promotion
Ensure smooth on-site execution during events
Track event details and follow up on post-event needs
Ideal Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in program or event management
Strong organizational and project-management skills
Proactive self-starter who can lead initiatives independently
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Understanding of the nonprofit space
Comfortable with occasional evening or Sunday events
Salary: $65k - $85k/Year
