Title: Programs Associates

Reports to: Director, Programs
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Associate Program Summary:

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Associates Program is designed to further support the mission of LADF by assisting with the foundation’s work across all of its functional areas: development, programs, and operations. Associates also actively engage with the local community and expand the reach of the organization’s impact throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

The LADF Associates Program is a highly competitive, paid, year-long program designed to provide college, graduate, and recent graduate students with both professional and personal development in a nonprofit sports team foundation setting. While Associates will have a specific department focus, they will work across all LADF’s departments, gaining insight into its programs, development, and operations.

We are seeking individuals who align with our mission and core values and are ready to join us in this exciting and important work.

Please note that the 2026 Associates Program will be in-person and will follow all LA County health and safety guidelines. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

LADF Offices are located at 100 N. Crescent Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, additional work locations may include Dodger Stadium and within the greater Los Angeles community.

Organization Summary

Under its new strategic plan, “Lasting Impact for Los Angeles,” LADF is amplifying best practices, scaling solutions, growing its capacity, and refining its work with investments exceeding $76 million in its programs and grants to local organizations. To date, LADF has positively impacted over 11 million youth. LADF is the proud recipient of ESPN's Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year, Robert Wood Johnson Sports Award, Beyond Sport's Sport for Reduced Racial Inequalities Collective Impact Award, and the Aspen Institute Project Play Champion.

The Programs team is looking for two positions

  • Affiliate Partners and Education & Homelessness Prevention Focus Area Program Associate - 1
  • Affiliate Partners and Health Care & Sports-Based Youth Development Focus Area Program Associate – 1

Responsibilities include:

  • Under the supervision of a Program Manager, support all aspects of the Dodgers Dreamteam program, including support for Affiliate Partners, including intentional alignment of focus area activities.
  • Assist Program Managers internally with coordinating year-round programming, Affiliate Partner activities, and internal planning efforts, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and next steps.
  • Use and maintain the LeagueApps registration platform for assigned Affiliate Partners.
  • Recruitment support (player, coach, and event promotion).
  • Join the Programs team on site visits.
  • Under the supervision of Program Managers, update program workplans, trackers, calendars, and shared documents.
  • Support internal meeting preparation, documenting action items, and assisting with follow-up related to program implementation.
  • Provide logistical and in-person support for LADF events and activations.
  • Assist with outreach and coordination with Affiliate Partners, community organizations, schools, and stakeholders, both online and in person.
  • Support data collection and documentation across initiatives, including attendance tracking, distribution counts, and basic impact metrics to support internal reporting and storytelling.
  • Support all LADF activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong interest in philanthropy, nonprofit management, or community development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in database management, CRM systems, or grant platforms preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Prior experience in research, administrative support, or project coordination is a plus.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current student OR within one-year post-graduation.
  • Must live, work, and have reliable transportation in Los Angeles for the duration of the program.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are a professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California. The Dodgers are members of the National League West division of Major League Baseball (MLB).
