
Position Title: Programs and Events Coordinator
Department: Turner Center for Entrepreneurship and Turner School for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Reports to: Executive and Academic Director of the Turner School
Appointment: Full-Time; 40 hours per week/12 months per year
Status: Exempt
This position is a joint appointment between the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship (TCE) and the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The position formally reports to the Executive and Academic Director of the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (TSEI) with indirect reporting to the Director of the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship. The duties are intended to be split 50% for each center on an annual basis with variability on a week-by-week basis according to programmatic and academic needs.
The Programs and Events Coordinator must be proactive, mission- driven, resourceful, able to prioritize and balance multiple projects, and exercise good judgment when making decisions. The successful candidate should be able to work independently on a project from start to finish, work collaboratively with others, and complete projects within specified deadlines. Given the nature of the role, the Programs and Events Coordinator must use discretion with confidential information.

Mental/Physical Requirements:
The selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is performed in a normal office environment with little exposure to outdoor temperatures or dirt and dust. Working conditions are typically moderately quiet.
To facilitate work with various programs across both units, some evening and early morning meetings may be required due to time differences as well as occasional weekend work.
