Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Business Application Services Branch as a Programmer Analyst.

What will you be doing?
As a member of the Business Applications Services team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting business application systems for a variety of clients.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A university degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of four (4) years related experience in system development OR a two (2) year college diploma in Information Technology with a minimum of four (4) years related experience in system development.
Demonstrated recent experience utilizing one or more of the following is required:
NET Framework Development (C#, VB.NET. .NET Core (C#) or Java development or Oracle forms development.
and
SQL server, .NET Framework Development (C#, VB.NET. .NET Core (C#) or Java development or Oracle forms development.SQL server procedures and SQL functions or Oracle Database experience and PL/SQL
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
Demonstrated experience applying software development methodologies, with a focus on business analysis and systems requirements development.
Experience with development process tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.

Salary: $59,046 - $82,576 annually – Pay Band 4 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
