At CKF, you’ll find committed employees who set the standard for the industry and create a welcoming, lively work environment.QualificationsThe CNC Programmer position is responsible for performing advanced setup operations on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, including Breton Trinity and Forte ‘Flash’ and Park Industry Titans.

• Translate instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program
• Read blueprints, drawings or sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product, sequence of operations and tooling requirements.
• Utilize internal software to review CAD drawings to create machine programming.
• Set up work centers, create machine control settings, and check for required specifications
• Troubleshoot programming difficulties involving tooling and equipment
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• SPS-pull CAD’s to create machine programming

Work Environment

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is will have prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This position will continuously need to use hands and fingers for fine manipulation such as writing and typing; and visual acuity for reading or watching computer screens, documents, phones. This position will frequently be required to talk and/or hear, both in person and telephonic.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Required Education and Experience

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Knowledge of or experience in AutoCAD
• Good reading comprehension skills
• Strong attention to detail and technical troubleshooting skills
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time

Preferred Education and Experience

• Good computer programming skills
• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer
• Knowledge of or experience with machinery from Breton and Park Industries
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry, preferably with stone.
