We are looking for a Programme Test Manager to join the Testing community of GBS to:

  • Manage extensive testing activities/operations
  • Direct several test leaders and a large number of software testers
  • Coordinate numerous teams contributing to the testing activities/operations
  • Ensuring transformation to modern quality engineering practices
  • Be responsible for formulating project/programme (global) test strategies and test planning & launches/activations

Your main tasks

  • Define the global testing, launch and activation strategy for the implementation of a programme or a set of projects, ensuring alignment with modern quality engineering practices
  • Coordinate the execution of the testing activities (spread across a large number of teams) for the implementation of a programme or a set of projects and manage impediments that may occur
  • Engage with internal stakeholders in various areas of the organisation to seek alignment and collaboration; deal with external stakeholders/vendors
  • Be responsible for meeting project/programme objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated testing risks
  • Have a direct and controlling impact on the results of testing for a specific area of the organisation, contributing to no disruption of mission‑critical business services and maintaining a clear competitive advantage for the company
  • Make decisions using sound judgment within the scope of the defined strategy

Technical skills

You have:

  • At least 10 years of experience working in Testing, including senior test or quality leadership roles
  • Strong test management experience handling cross‑functional, multi‑platform programmes requiring coordination of a large number of teams
  • Solid knowledge of modern testing and quality engineering approaches, such as:
    • Test automation strategies (including automation at different test levels)
    • Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD)
    • Shift‑left and continuous testing practices
    • Use of AI‑assisted testing and test intelligence (e.g. test optimisation, defect prediction, test data generation)
  • The ability to define and drive test strategies that combine traditional and modern testing techniques, adapted to large‑scale, complex environments
  • Very good analysis and investigation skills; ability to break down complex problems and develop pragmatic solutions
  • Proven experience in effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control and transparency
  • Experience with offshoring and distributed teams
  • Good business knowledge of any Euroclear business domain (EB Settlement, Collateral Management, Cash & Banking, or Asset Servicing) is a strong asset
