SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION

Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time associate degree (AD), Higher Diploma (HD) and Undergraduate (UG) Honours Degree Programmes at the Shek Mun (Shatin) campus. It is a major education providing unit of the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the seven Faculties/Schools of HKBU. CIE currently enrolls over 3,500 students and is committed to the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. Applications are now invited for the following position:

Programme Manager (25260617)

The appointee will be a core supervisory staff member in the Academic Registry Services Section of the College, which consists of several teams providing a wide range of registry functions including admissions, student matters, teaching support and quality assurance.

The appointee will oversee the College’s student matters and academic services, provide secretarial support to committees, handle enquiries and complaints, coordinate course registration, assist in budget planning and system development, and compile statistical reports.

Applicants should possess a university degree with at least seven years of relevant work experience, preferably with experience in a supervisory role in the tertiary education sector. Previous work experience in programme administration and/or registry services will be a definite advantage. They should also possess an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, effective communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and good team spirit. Candidates should be self-motivated with a positive attitude, good knowledge of programme management, and proficiency in computer applications.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment. The appointee will be required to serve at the Shatin Shek Mun Campus of the College of International Education.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract ending in August 2027. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
