Programme Manager – Landfills

WA or SA | Senior Leadership | Travel Across Regions

Help lead multi‑year landfill lifecycle programmes that support safer, more sustainable waste and resource recovery across WA and SA. This senior role oversees the planning, governance and delivery of major capital projects — ensuring safe, compliant and efficient long‑term asset outcomes.

You’ll shape large‑scale environmental and infrastructure outcomes, leading Project Managers and Engineers while coordinating technical, environmental and operational teams. Your work ensures our landfill assets are delivered to the highest standard and meet long‑term regulatory and community expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the integrated programme plan (scope, cost, schedule, risks)
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to standard
  • Provide programme‑level governance, reporting and delivery assurance
  • Coach and support Project Managers/Engineers across multiple sites
  • Coordinate with Technical, Environmental, HSEQ and PMO teams
  • Embed whole‑of-life thinking into planning, sequencing and investment

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading large, multi‑project programmes
  • Background in landfill, civil, waste infrastructure or major capital works
  • Strong cost, schedule, risk and performance management capability
  • Ability to interpret licences, legislation and technical documents
  • Confident stakeholder engagement with regulators and senior leaders
  • Engineering degree (or related); PM qualifications welcomed
