We are looking for a Programme Manager in SD International Corporate Branches, who will play a vital role in orchestrating changes to create outstanding customer experience and advance our digital transformation agenda.

About our team

Meet the SD International Corporate Branches team. Our role is to support Nordea customer groups with their international banking needs across UK, US, Canada, Mexico and Mainland China.

What you'll be doing

Main responsibilities in this role:

  • Drive and facilitate Nordea’s strategic programme, organise efficient ways of working in close collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Ensure programme objectives, roadmaps and scope are agreed and continually prioritised in alignment with Nordea strategy and deliverables are completed within agreed time and budget
  • Define and maintain programme governance, provide supporting structures for effective communication, ensure financial and risk management and reporting
  • Build alliances and effective networks, serving as a project ambassador and representing the initiative towards stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration and steer teams towards culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and the adoption of relevant tools and practices

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you are a superb communicator with a proven track record of IT programme and project management in complex global initiatives (10+ years), proactive, resilient and goal oriented person who role-models the right behaviours and helps others grow.

Your background and skills include:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading complex IT initiatives with globally distributed multi-disciplinary teams
  • Successful management of software go-live efforts with good understanding of systems development lifecycle, including technology best standards and relevant best practices.
  • Complete command of agile methodologies, traditional ways of working and core project management processes
  • Proficiency in financial management, forecasting, reporting, vendor and risk management
  • Fluent English

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have experience of working in financial industry
  • Have Master’s degree in IT-related field
