Birmingham Adult Education Service (BAES) is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and well‑qualified Programme Manager for Health Care, Social Care, Early Years and Education Reporting to the Head of Faculty for Vocational Skills, you will collaborate with Programme Managers across all faculties to design and deliver an ambitious and responsive Vocational Skills curriculum that meets local needs and ensures every learner receives an excellent experience.
You will lead a team of specialist salaried and sessional teachers committed to delivering a high‑quality, adult‑focused curriculum and achieving strong learner outcomes. The role requires responsiveness to labour‑market and employer needs, working closely with the Head of Faculty to anticipate emerging trends in Health Care, Social Care, Early Years and Education.
The successful candidate will have substantial knowledge and experience of working within the Adult Education Budget (AEB) grant, along with a strong track record in curriculum development. They will also demonstrate expertise in sector‑relevant qualifications, planning and delivery. The role requires leading, motivating and supporting the team while driving continuous quality improvement across all areas.
