Phillip Island Adventure Resort is an expansive, purpose-built facility set across 80 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of Cowes. The resort accommodates over 600 guests and features air-conditioned rooms with ensuites, alongside an exciting range of onsite activities including giant swings, swimming pools, high and low ropes courses, canoeing, raft building, sand volleyball, indoor rock climbing, archery, and multiple flying foxes.

We host a wide range of groups including schools, churches, community organisations, corporate retreats and holiday camps.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed casual Outdoor Activity Instructors to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for hosting guest groups and facilitating their scheduled activities throughout their stay, helping to deliver safe, memorable and meaningful experiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and hosting guest groups in a friendly, engaging and professional manner
  • Acting as an experience and adventure guide for visiting groups
  • Providing clear activity orientations, instruction and supervision
  • Operating activities in line with Safe Operating Procedures, Activity Safety Guides and Risk Management Plans
  • Preparing activity areas, conducting safety checks and reporting maintenance requirements
  • Maintaining valid Level 2 First Aid, Lifesaving certification and any relevant Victorian DEECD qualifications (training provided)
  • Adhering to all child safety, child protection and mandatory reporting requirements
  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week on a flexible roster (preferably consecutive; Mon - Wed, Wed - Fri or Fri - Sun)

Essential requirements:

  • A Victorian employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid rights to work in Australia
