Program Support Worker – Hospital
Thomas Embling Hospital | Melbourne

Classification: MHO2
Salary: $32.30 to $35.11 Plus Super and Salary Packaging
Location: Thomas Embling Hospital (other sites as required)
Status: 0.6 FTE - Part-Time Ongoing

About Forensicare
Forensicare is Victoria’s specialist provider of forensic mental health services, delivering recovery focused care across secure hospital and community settings.

The Role
As a Program Support Worker (PSW), you will support the coordination and delivery of group based therapeutic programs at Thomas Embling Hospital. Working closely with clinical teams, you will help ensure programs are accessible, well organised, and delivered in line with recovery oriented practice.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate program timetables, materials, and attendance records
• Support and escort patients to therapeutic group programs
• Assist with program delivery and evaluation activities
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams regarding participation
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to safe handovers

About You
You have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to mental health recovery. You are comfortable supporting group programs in a secure hospital environment and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Selection Criteria
• Commitment to recovery oriented mental health practice
• Relevant qualification (or willingness to undertake study)
• Administrative and scheduling experience
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
