We are looking for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring, helping and challenging people and we want you to be a part of our team as a Program Support Technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Supervise resident population at all times, including meal times, work periods, visitation, and furloughs.

  2. Ensures the safety and welfare of residents, staff, and visitors.

  3. Conduct daily inspections of the house.

  4. Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the house and grounds.

  5. Record and report any maintenance problems to supervisor.

  6. Conduct random room checks and necessary counts according to written policy.

  7. Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.

  8. Conduct intake on residents when necessary.

  9. Maintain all daily weekly, monthly Log Books, and any other required documentation.

  10. Sign residents in and out of the house according to curfew restrictions.

  11. Conduct random drug and alcohol tests.

  12. Maintain inventory of toiletries, cleaning supplies, food supplies, and kitchen supplies.

  13. Shop for supplies when necessary.

  14. Prepare resident meals when necessary.

  15. Assist with creating and assigning resident work detail, making sure the house is presentable at all times, i.e., kitchen crew, in-house cleaning assignments, lawn maintenance, snow removal, etc.

  16. Transport residents to meetings, DSS, medical appointment, etc. when needed.

  17. Participate in weekly House Meetings and Morning Meetings when on duty.

  18. Make sure all doors are locked after Curfew.

  19. Conduct and record monthly fire drills as per the Company policy

  20. Resident medication management and distribution.

  21. Be available to work all shifts to ensure proper coverage per contract and policy standards.

  22. Must be able to perform the major functions of the job with or without an accommodation.

  23. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

  24. Immediately report all Workers Compensation injuries, whether they require medical attention or not to the Executive Director.

  25. Report all breaches of company policy or code of ethics that you have knowledge of hear about or see regardless of who is involved in the breach immediately to the Executive Director.

  26. Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of this job description are followed and adhered to.

  27. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.



Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: One year experience working with safety and security. Prefer one year of experience working with criminal justice residents.

EDUCATION: High school/GED/ College hours and a degree preferred
