Program Support Specialist (Grant Funded)
Arizona Western College is seeking a Program Support Specialist to help create a welcoming, organized, and successful experience for participants in the Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA). From helping participants get registered to coordinating communications, training resources, and program logistics, this role is an important part of delivering the program from start to finish.
Grant funded through the Empower to Grow Program, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and making sure the details are in place for others to succeed. Typical Duties:
- Serves Students. Provides scheduling, logistics, and participant communication support across both service tracks in the Manufacturing Business and Automation Accelerator (MBAA) program.
- Manages participant registration, sends out cohort communications, post-training follow-up surveys.
- Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with 4 years’ experience or
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Applicants may indicate any additional language proficiencies in their application materials, including
- English/Spanish, as relevant to the position
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Arizona Driver’s License or Equivalent
Salary:
$24.04 per hour

- Grant Funded (Empower 2 Grow Grant) – Scheduled to end no later than August 2027
- Non-Exempt, $24.04 per hour
