About the Role:
Due to growth, we have full-time and part-time opportunities available based at our Tamworth site. These roles will be responsible for our outreach phone servicing to better support our customers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in working in employment services and now be looking at using that experience to service customers in remote locations rather than face to face. Managing a caseload of remote customers will mean you will need excellent time management skills and an ability to communicate effectively.
The Program Support Officer provides high-quality administrative and customer service support, managing all incoming phone contacts and scheduling appointments for the outreach caseload. The role ensures that enquiries are resolved promptly or referred to the appropriate area, while maintaining accurate records in compliance with legislative, contractual, and organisational requirements. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting operational efficiency, and contributing to BEST’s vision.
About You:
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask. Manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated experience in meeting/exceeding targets.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and service quality under pressure.
• Experience in a customer facing role and passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to persevere when faced with resistance; overcome obstacles and maintain a positive attitude and stable performance under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM Systems and phone systems.
• Understanding of contractual frameworks, privacy principals, and accurate record-keeping or willingness to develop knowledge.
Qualifications, Licences and Checks:
• Relevant qualifications in Employment Services and/or Community Services desired, but not essential.
• Current Driver’s License (Class C or above).
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
