Compliance and Regulatory Services (CARS) branch plays a vital role in making Brisbane a safe, liveable and healthy city. Our branch leads, enables and protects the community through a diverse range of regulatory, compliance, public health and community safety functions. Within Environmental Health, the Immunisation team supports the delivery of vital public health programs that safeguard residents of all ages.
The Immunisation Team within Environmental Health delivers Council’s Community Immunisation Program across various locations in Brisbane.
The Program Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of the program. As the first point of contact for clients attending clinics, you will provide a welcoming and professional experience while delivering high-quality administrative and operational support to the Immunisation Services team.
This customer-focused role requires strong communication, attention to detail and administrative skills. You will support client flow at clinics, maintain accurate records, respond to general enquiries and refer clients to nursing staff when clinical advice is required.
