Job Description

The D405 Digital Enterprise (DE) Organization is searching for a highly-motivated problem solver, with a passion for driving a vision, to fulfill the role of the PLM Future Programs Supervisor. This position will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of Electric Boat’s digital capabilities to support the digital transformation plan for future submarine programs. This supervisor will be responsible for hiring and leading a new team of approximately 4-5 direct reports.

The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the execution of efforts supporting Digital Enterprise initiatives for SSNX and IPMP programs (status meeting, touchpoints, escalation, etc.)
• Prepare and support deliverables to internal (IT and the business) and external customers (PMS351, PMS450, NL, NR) related to Digital Enterprise efforts on future programs
• Work with the Customer to identify funding sources available to support new, additional Digital Enterprise efforts supporting future programs
• Development of personnel through training and mentoring

The successful candidate will be customer-focused and have excellent project management and communication skills. They be able to think strategically while acting tactically to execute multiple projects concurrently. The successful candidate must be a leader who is skilled at problem identification, investigation, and resolution of tasking through completion.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years experience in a project management role
• 4+ years of experience in DE, IT, Program Office, and/or the business supporting software change
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience with managing cross-organizational projects
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense

Preferred:

• PMP certification
• Experience with Teamcenter
• Experience supporting SSNX or IPMP programs
• Experience working with external customers
• Experience collaborating with business leaders to resolve complex and challenging problems
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and professionally developing employees
