Program Specialist - Life Sharing

Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a human service agency supporting people with disabilities is actively seeking an energetic, team-oriented professional to join our team in our IDD Residential Services Division.

The Program Specialist - Life Sharing (Program Specialist) is responsible for planning, implementation and supervision of the IDD Life Sharing program, including the homes and Life Sharing providers. The Program Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the Life Sharing homes are always operating in accordance with policies, state regulations, and within the constraints of all contract agreements. the Program Specialist manages and evaluates the program's progress, supervises the providers, and ensures the program maintains licensing. The Program Specialist is responsible for managing financial stability of the program and meeting budget requirements. The Program Specialist is responsible for ensuring the program operates in accordance with any regulation or operating instructions. This position reports to the Director of IDD Residential Services.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., flexible, including on-call responsibilities. These are great work hours with paid holidays off starting day one of employment!!

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will possess at a minimum bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field, a minimum of two years managerial/supervisory experience, and a minimum of two years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Computer knowledge is a must
  • Valid PA Driver's License
  • Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
  • Pre-employment Drug Screen
  • PA Criminal History Clearance
  • PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
  • FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
