Shape how Wholesale KYC Operations delivers a seamless, compliant onboarding experience for clients worldwide. Lead high-impact regulatory and strategic change programs while partnering across Front Office, GFCC, Compliance, and Technology. Bring innovation through data analytics and AI to strengthen controls, simplify delivery, and improve user experience.


As a Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) Policy and Program – Vice President within the WKO Policy & Program team, you lead global and APAC franchise initiatives that translate regulatory requirements into scalable KYC onboarding processes, controls, and operating model changes. You act as a senior conduit across Front Office, GFCC/Compliance, Functional partners, and WKO production to drive end-to-end execution of complex AML and non-AML programs. You deliver client-centric outcomes by strengthening governance, issue management, and change adoption while advancing analytics- and AI-enabled improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead global KYC/onboarding initiatives aligned to regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Drive franchise program changes from strategy through execution with clear governance and delivery discipline.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Policy, Program, Compliance/GFCC, Legal, Technology, and business teams to implement change.
  • Translate regulatory developments into actionable process, procedure, and system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the WKO strategic change roadmap with status, risk, issue, and dependency management.
  • Communicate program progress, challenges, and decisions to senior stakeholders with concise, executive-ready updates.
  • Facilitate workgroups to design target-state processes and system enhancements aligned to onboarding standards and regional constraints.
  • Run structured forums and meetings with agendas, documented outcomes, and tracked actions to closure.
  • Identify risks and delivery blockers early and escalate with options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
  • Strengthen controls over change introduction and process improvements to ensure sustainable adoption.
  • Resolve conflicts across stakeholders by influencing, negotiating, and driving timely decisions.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Bring 10+ years of banking-related experience across audit, compliance, program management, or process reengineering.
  • Demonstrate deep KYC expertise and familiarity with global AML/BSA regulatory best practices.
  • Identify and drive practical AI- and analytics-enabled transformation opportunities across processes and operating models.
  • Manage complex programs with strong planning, milestone tracking, and deadline execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Communicate clearly in business-level English with strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder messaging skills.
  • Influence cross-functional partners effectively with strong control mindset, quality focus, and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Apply knowledge of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking business models, clients, and products.
  • Navigate regional AML/CTF statutory and regulatory requirements to design sustainable operating solutions.
  • Engage regulators or support regulatory examinations through well-prepared responses and traceable governance.
  • Operate with a client and user experience lens to deliver end-to-end, friction-reducing change.
  • Utilize MS Office tools fluently, including advanced Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling.
  • Leverage workflow or business rule tools such as PEGA, Xceptor, or Signavio to enable scalable solutions.
  • Lead and develop junior project managers by coaching delivery standards and execution rigor.
