Description
The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court system employs nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks. The Office of Statewide Programs, Department of Pretrial Services has an opening for Program Project Coordinator in Bullitt County. This position may be located in any of the following counties: Bullitt, Breckinridge, Grayson, Edmonson, Ohio, Hardin, Logan, Simpson, Todd, or Warren.
The Program Project Coordinator collaborates with the Regional Administrator and Region Coordinator to support regional staff in executing daily operations, programs, and projects, ensuring timely preparation, accurate review, and effective maintenance of special projects and reports. Assists with scheduling, delivering training, and monitoring quality assurance, and facilitates regional trainings and the Pretrial Academy to enhance staff performance and program compliance.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS CLASSIFICATION:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in job-related field
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two (2) years of experience in the judicial field, criminal justice, public speaking, or team leadership.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional relevant work experience and, or, higher level of education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Statewide travel is required. Regularly lifts up to 10 lbs.; occasionally lifts up to 20 lbs. Due to the nature of the job duties and responsibilities, this position is not authorized for virtual work.
