Support the planning and execution of the D&S Canada Acquisition and Updates portfolio, as well as major proposals and capture activities.
Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) aligned with program objectives, milestones, and contractual requirements.
Ensure schedule integration across internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
Apply appropriate planning methodologies, including rolling wave planning, to support evolving program needs.
Contribute to the development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP), where required.
Monitor schedule performance against established baselines and track progress.
Maintain and report on program milestones within organizational systems.
Identify schedule variances, assess impacts, and support corrective actions.
Ensure schedule data integrity to support Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
Perform schedule analysis, including critical path and scenario analysis (what-if).
Support identification of risks and dependencies related to scheduling.
Contribute to schedule risk assessments, including Monte Carlo simulations where applicable.
Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize schedule performance.
Communicate schedule status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and constraints.
Participate in internal and external planning reviews.
Promote best practices in planning tools, processes, and methodologies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within program planning
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in program or project planning and scheduling.
Advanced proficiency with scheduling tools, including MS Project and Planisware.
Strong knowledge of:
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Critical path method and schedule analysis techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership, solve problems, and collaborate effectively.
Bachelor’s or college degree in management, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with simulator lifecycle and milestone structures.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
Experience in Defence & Security programs or similar complex environments.
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Experience with schedule risk analysis tools and techniques.
