The Program Officer (PO) will act as the main programmatic point of contact for assigned program areas within Jhpiego’s U.S. Government (USG)/Department of State (DOS) multi-country global health programming. Jhpiego’s global health programming supports integrated, sustainable health services including HIV; Sustainability, transition and integration, Global Health Security (GHS), maternal, newborn, and child health; and other priority health areas across multiple countries. The PO will work in close collaboration with the DOS project’s core global team, relevant technical leads and contributors, and country offices to provide specialized support and guidance and to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
This position is accountable for ensuring that strong program management methodology, practices and tools are being applied. The PO will proactively identify opportunities to improve or streamline management and implementation processes, ensuring efficient and effective program management and achievement of objectives. The PO will also contribute to budget development, tracking of expenditures, subaward development and/or consultant engagement as appropriate.
The salary range for this role is expected to be: $74,867 - $92,924
The referenced salary range is based on Johns Hopkins University’s good faith belief at the time of posting.
