As a Program Manager for Transition to Work, you will be responsible for managing a team of Career Development Specialists across the Geraldton region who are providing intensive, pre-employment support for young people aged 15-25.

You will do this by managing budgets, individual and team KPI's and monitoring performance against established targets.

You will develop and implement strategies that will ensure our customers are supported through the whole employment services process, whilst continuing to champion Real Futures as an employment service partner of choice.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure the successful delivery of the Transition
  to Work program on behalf of Real Futures in the Geraldton region
• Induct and train new staff
• Set and monitor staff KPIs
• Liaise with departmental account manager
• Ensure Real Futures delivers on its service offer commitments
• Work with Youth Mentors to develop and deliver programs and workshops on site to young people
• Participate in local community, employment and networking events and forums
• Ensure that our local youth hub provides a safe and welcoming environment for young people

About you

• Have previous experience working with youth
• Ability to rapidly build effective and positive working relationships with staff and various stakeholders
• Advanced level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate business solutions with external providers
• Strong positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Good level of business acumen and budgetary skills
• Knowledge of risk management approaches, including the ability to undertake risk assessments for work activities

To be considered:

• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
• Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
• Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
