
Develops and implements systems for the effective administration of the Simulation Training Laboratory in terms of expenditures, education, operational readiness, inventory, maintenance, record keeping and contract personnel/staff utilization. Performs highly complex duties in the design, development, installation, integration, coordination and maintenance of the Simulation Lab lab and its supplies and equipment, including hands-on assistance to faculty with patient simulation scenarios. Serves as a technical advisor for all simulation mannequins and high-level instructional equipment, models, and software.
For a Paramedic Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of an Associates degree for Paramedics initially certified after June 2015. Work also requires a New Jersey Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic certification and 1 year experience as a Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic. Certification in BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support) or PHTLS (Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support). For a Registered Nurse Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Emergency Care or other Health related area. Licensure required as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Three to five years of prior work experience in Nursing or in Paramedic training required and actual teaching experience is highly preferred. Certification at the Technician level is required either at time of hire or within 1 year of employment by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
