Job Description

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.
IS&T is the engine behind everything Apple does for customers and for the people who build for them. It’s Apple’s central nervous system. Supporting 2.5 billion active Apple devices, processing billions of secure transactions, and keeping the technology that defines modern life running flawlessly, IS&T makes the impossible feel effortless.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Data Lead to serve as a critical bridge between the PMO, Privacy Legal team, test automation functions, and cross-functional business partners in the delivery of Apple’s global data privacy compliance and business process initiatives. This person will play a key role integrating business requirements with future systems architecture, business impact assessments, roadmap planning, and future operating models — in close partnership across Information Systems and Technology teams. They will also own the end-to-end quality strategy, ensuring testing rigor keeps pace with program complexity. The ideal candidate brings a sharp ability to translate complex regulatory and legal requirements into future data privacy requirements and flows. This candidate must thrive in a fast-moving, high-stakes compliance environment where scope clarity, schedule discipline, and cross-functional alignment are essential.

The WW PMO team is responsible for driving cross-functional execution of enterprise-wide data privacy initiatives across Apple. The team partners closely with Privacy Legal, IS&T, OCM, and business stakeholders to ensure that regulatory changes are efficiently translated into system requirements and delivered on time against strict compliance deadlines.
This role sits at the intersection of program governance, legal partnership, and business transformation. Key responsibilities include:

Data Privacy & Compliance Solution Lead.
Program Governance & Delivery.
Testing Strategy & Execution.
Cross-functional Leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to drive alignment on scope, schedule, and resourcing across technology and business teams.
Experience in large, matrixed organizations with tight deadlines integrating business transformation with systems architecture, operating model design, and change management.
Ability to create and drive end-to-end test strategy with a focus on quality, efficiency, and speed of delivery.
Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and executive presentation — with ability to synthesize complexity for senior leadership.
Strong experience in data privacy regulations (GDPR, PIPL, CCPA). with demonstrated partnership with Legal, Privacy, or Regulatory teams to translate requirements into executable plans.
Comfortable operating in environments with high ambiguity; able to bring structure and clarity where none exists.
Experience with SAP, retail, and fulfillment systems is preferred.
Experience with enterprise program management tools (e.g. Wrike, Jira, Smartsheet) and familiarity with IS&T delivery models.
Passionate about data privacy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise business transformation.
Able to operate independently with conviction, influence without authority, and drive cross functional teams to the right decisions with speed and precision.
Adept at managing competing priorities across Legal, business, and technical stakeholders while keeping the program on track
Brings a collaborative, service-oriented mindset — ensuring Legal and Privacy teams remain the authoritative decision-makers while the PMO enables clarity, pace, and accountability across the program.
Certifications in Worksoft or other test automation tools.
PMI/PMP certification preferred Certified Scrum Master.
7+ years managing system integration testing or user acceptance testing for complex, highly integrated programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in cross-functional program or portfolio management within a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment.
Experience in data privacy regulations (GDPR, PIPL, CCPA).
