Program managers are skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they oversee. They thrive when planning projects, managing change and working with project teams composed of resources from different teams within Fortinet.

The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring from start to finish the definition and deployment of Fortinet internal AI transformation projects as well as integrate new teams into Professional Services with aligning them on tools and processes.

He/she is expected to manage a virtual team comprising; CS&S leaders, CS&S team members, AI engineers and LLM specialists as well as other Fortinet stakeholders to ensure the end solution drives more efficiency within the organization.

Additionally, he/she is expected to manage a virtual team comprising of; PS leaders, PS team members, and members of the new joiners.

The position requires an individual with exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills who follows a structured approach for implementing AI solutions and managing changes in organizations.

The Program Manager should have a background in business skills and management as well as have good technical background around networking and cybersecurity.

It is also the role of the Program Manager to analyze impact of those initiatives on existing tools and processes and to implement the change when introducing those new ways of working.

Some possible areas of transformation for Professional Services, for example are:

• understand current practices of new teams from Fortinet acquisition or from internal organization change and agree how to best integrate them in Fortinet PS organization,
• automated document generation, improved resource capacity analysis, assistance with risk analysis for a project based on previous similar delivery…

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships to understand the needs and requirements of the various initiatives and changes to be managed.
• Manage the relationship with all stakeholders and ensure appropriate project follow-up is organized with adequate reporting.
• Develop and build WBS and schedules to match the needs of the transformations projects.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Identify the criteria and key for the successes of the projects, and define communication plans / risks accordingly.
• Propose training programmes to ensure the practical implementation of optimised processes within PS.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Reports and escalates to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Apply effectively Fortinet's methodology and enforces project standards.
• Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Comply with the Fortinet policy on the use of AI resources.

Job Requirements:

• Around 15 years in similar position or management positions.
• Technical understanding of security and networking projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Outstanding negotiation, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Flexible during times of change.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Strong commitment and self-driven individual.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
• PMP and/or PRINCE II certification and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
