Job Description

Are you ready to take a central role in shaping and driving some of the most important strategic initiatives within Product at H&M Group? As Program Manager within Product Strategy & Development, you will be part of translating ambitious business priorities into clear direction, structured execution, and measurable impact.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and execution. You will work close to Product leadership and collaborate across Product, Technology, and other business functions to drive initiatives that strengthen how we create, develop, and scale our product offer across the business.

You will help shape the future direction of one of H&M Group's most important transformation agendas, working directly with senior Product leaders on initiatives that influence how products are created, developed, and brought to customers globally.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will lead strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives that are critical to the Product agenda. You will bring structure to complex business challenges, create alignment between senior stakeholders, and ensure that priorities move from ambition to action with pace, quality, and clear ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead high-impact strategic initiatives across the Product Strategy & Development agenda, from problem definition and planning through execution and delivery
  • Structure and drive complex initiatives by identifying the right stakeholders, defining objectives, building implementation plans, and ensuring rigorous follow-through
  • Act as a trusted partner to Product leadership by creating clarity, preparing decision-making, and ensuring progress on key priorities
  • Identify dependencies, risks, blockers, and trade-offs early, and proactively drive solutions that keep strategic initiatives moving forward
  • Define and track success metrics, ensuring initiative outcomes are aligned with strategic goals and business priorities
  • Build strong networks across Product and the wider organisation, influencing stakeholders and driving sustainable change
  • Continuously develop and improve ways of working, contributing to best practices in programme and initiative management

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a highly structured and results-oriented professional with a passion for turning strategy into action. You combine strong analytical capabilities with exceptional execution skills and thrive when navigating complexity, ambiguity, and multiple stakeholders.

You are confident working with senior leaders and know how to build alignment around challenging decisions and competing priorities. You are proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

You bring a strong sense of ownership, maintain a high level of quality in your work, and have the persistence to drive initiatives through to completion.

To succeed in this role, you also have:

  • 7+ years of experience from a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or corporate strategy, transformation or business development roles, with a proven track record of leading complex strategic cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes in fast-paced environments
  • Experience working across multiple business functions and navigating complex organisational structures
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across competing priorities
  • Strong programme and project management capabilities, including risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Interest in the fashion industry; experience or familiarity with product, assortment, merchandising, buying, planning, sourcing, or product development is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches to structure recommendations and support decision-making
  • Self-driven mindset with a strong sense of accountability, ownership, and delivery focus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clarity, alignment, and momentum across diverse stakeholder groups
