Objective
Reporting tothe EVP, Growth and Trade, the Program Manager, Pharma Relations,is responsible forserving as the primary business relationship manager of and liaison with assigned pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts. In this capacity, the Program Manager will oversee and be responsible for contract performance, adherence and compliance, managing and reporting on KPI’s related to the specific accounts,preparefor andconductregular client business reviews,serveas the internal point person and subject matter expert for assigned accounts, and effectivelyrepresentthe clients’ interests between internal departments.
Essential Duties
- Responsible forestablishing, cultivating, andmaintainingall aspects of the Company’s interactions and overall business dealings and contract obligations with specified Pharmaceutical Manufacturer clients
- Data oversight;ensuringaccuracy,timelinessand contract compliance
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned Trade clients on behalf of Company to support andmonitorcontract adherence, performquarterly business reviews, ensure performance improvement to program standards
- Facilitates the required communications, directions,oversightand interaction with Companydepartmental functions necessary to ensure full adherence to all contractual obligations with Company’sPharmaceutical Manufacturer clients and the overall satisfaction of same with the Company
- Implementationof all elements of new contracts
- Responsible for understanding,monitoringand ensuring Company’ssuccess with all contract requirements with assigned Pharmaceutical Manufacturer clients
- Responsible for management of Company’sdatabase of Trade and Pharma client contracts to ensure itremainsupdated
- Responsible forfacilitatingcontract renewals with assigned Pharmaceutical Manufacturer clients
- Develops custom sales presentations and produces proposals
- Supports Company’s presentations, meetings,etcwith Pharmaceutical Manufacturers as assigned
- Represents Company at industry trade events with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers as assigned
- Monitors and ensures client satisfaction and retention
- Works in partnership with the Clinical and Operations and Field Sales teams to understand client needs and market conditions
- Provides individual account input to contributeto the forecasting process
- Partners with all company departmentsto ensurePharmaceuticalsatisfaction with performance
- Performs related duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Experience successfully working in a cross-functional organizational environment
- A minimum of 4 yearsrelated and progressively responsible experience in contracting, consultative selling for high-end products in life sciences/similar industry and trade relations
- Willing to travel up to 30% for business purposes
- Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft office products (including Word, Excel, PowerPointetc)
- New product/program implementation experience
Preferred
- MBA/MS in Business or related field with 7+ yearsof experience in a related field
- Experience working withPharmaceuticalManufacturers/Wholesalers in a trade and vendor role in the Specialty Pharmacy, HomeInfusionand/or Ambulatory Infusion markets
- Experience in contract management with Pharmaceutical Manufacturer clients
