Manages, coordinates, and directs activities, programs, and special initiatives for the Master of Science in Health Informatics program in the Clinical Informatics Center. Position will manage all administrative aspects of the in-person, evening Master of Science in Health Informatics program and serve as the primary point of contact for program including prospective and current students. The Program Manager will also work closely with staff, faculty, and deans at the graduate school and is responsible for the following tasks. The Program Manager will be an Ambassador and Contact for prospective students and faculty. Manages all administrative aspects of the Master of Science in Health Informatics program including, but not limited to the following areas: Communications and marketing Recruitment, admissions, international affairs, enrollment, student affairs, and graduation Course management/curriculum delivery and oversight Financial management and oversight of student billing Faculty recruitment and onboarding Program policy development adherence Reporting and special projects Program compliance Tracks students' performance and compliance with assigned tasks such as the Capstone project. Develops an Alumni network Assists the Administrative Manager, Program Chair, and Center Director with a wide range of administrative responsibilities and support activities related to the following: Academic Programs including Administration Training Grant Administration Fellowship Data and Record Administration Faculty Services Conferences and Special Projects Outreach Human Resources Space and Facilities Management

JOB DUTIES
·Works closely with the Principal Investigator to define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals; develop full-scale program plans and associated communications documents; and effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
·Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation procedures.
·Assures compliance with all institutional and regulatory requirements.
·Develops and/or oversees development of budget for programs. Projects and monitors budget for each activity, program, or special initiative. Manages billing, sourcing, and expenditures.
·Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from programs.
·Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with staff, students, and faculty.
·Edits documents, provides comprehensive review for grant proposals, and provides ongoing management of awarded grants for activities, programs, and special initiatives.
·Participates in conferences.
·Designs and maintains a system for data collection and creates process to ensure that performance measures and/or metrics are collected to track and evaluate achievement of program goals.
·Presents data and program information.
·Manages risks and issues that might arise over the course of the program life cycle and takes measures to correct them when they occur.
·Coordinates the program and interdependencies between the various projects and programs.
·Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded.
·Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
·Keeps relevant with technical, functionality and other program updates.
·Develops sustainable goals for the programs that are supported.
·Evaluates and assesses the programs' strengths and weaknesses.
·Oversees workflow management of program; design, build and test existing / new workflows for various units and departments throughout UTSW.
·Maintains collaborative relationships between different departments, universities, and community partners.
·Hires, trains, motivates, and coaches employees.
·Evaluates student and employee performance and provides feedback and training opportunities.
·Mastery of study protocols, and obtain training and certification where needed to carry out study procedures.
·Assist investigators with review of electronic health record data for secondary analysis.
·Attend regular meetings with the Principal Investigator and other team members to discuss progress and challenges.
·Assist with the preparation of Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and related documents regarding the protection of human subjects, including maintenance of study binders with study records
·Quantitative analysis of clinical informatics research data
·Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as requested
