We are looking for a good fit to join our Transportation Long Term Capacity Planning Team, part of the larger Supply Chain Team. This team plays a crucial role in strategically planning and executing Amazon's Last Mile Transportation network topology over a 1-3 year horizon. As a Last Mile Program Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to evolve our delivery network, contributing to optimization across cost, speed, and reliability while maintaining a strong customer focus.
In this role, you will support the development of capacity solutions that address both current and future demands, ensuring business continuity through peak periods. Your work will contribute to long-term strategy programs, helping prepare Amazon's last mile logistics network for sustained growth while balancing delivery speed, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
You will leverage your analytical skills in forecasting and capacity planning to support data-driven decisions that shape the future of our Last Mile operations. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across the organization. Your analysis and recommendations will support senior leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement of our delivery network.

Key job responsibilities
- Support the 1-3 year network topology planning for Last Mile, contributing to build plans that balance capacity requirements with cost and speed objectives
- Conduct capacity deficit analysis across AMZL and EDSP stations, identifying gaps and proposing solutions through new launches, relocations, or operational levers
- Build and maintain long-range forecasting models integrating SCOT inputs, channel share assumptions, and peakiness factors to project station-level volume requirements
- Develop cost-benefit analyses for topology changes including station launches, closures, relocations, etc.
- Support the POR narrative for OP1/OP2/3YF cycles by preparing capacity projections, topology change summaries, and cost impact assessments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Real Estate, Operations, DSP Program, Engineering) to execute build plan elements including site scouting, launch timelines, and capacity readiness
- Maintain and update capacity planning tools and frameworks including MCCT, ZAPs analysis, and station-level volume tracking to ensure planning accuracy
- Prepare decision documents with quantified options and trade-offs for leadership review on topology changes, supporting senior team members in framing strategic choices

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
