Akron General Medical Center is looking to add a Program Manager to the team who will support the OBGYN Residency Program. The OBGYN ResidencyProgram is designed to provide four years of training in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our goal is that upon completion, any graduating resident is a superbly well-trained OBGYN capable of practicing as a specialist in General Obstetrics and Gynecology or a highly competitive candidate tocontinue oninto fellowship training in any of the subspecialty areas. As a Program Managerfor this program, you will serve as an integral role in the management and oversight of the educational activities, creating thevery complexmaster rotation schedule, overseeing the recruitment process as well as creating multiple dashboards to capture accreditation data needed for ACGME reporting. Your work will ensure that all requirements are needed for accreditation and graduation for our residents.Come bea part of a supportive team that encourages professional development and treats you like family.
A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Develop, implement,manageandmaintainoperational systems and activities.
Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Review andmonitoradherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two years of experience in project management, dataanalysisand systems training
ORHigh School Diploma/GED and six years of experience
ORAssociate’s Degreeand four years of experience
ORMaster’s Degreeand one year of experience
Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primaryresearchand business plan development
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience in a healthcare setting
Two years of medical education experience
Microsoft skills
Excel experience
MedHubexperience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
