About the Role

We are hiring Program Managers (I-IV) to lead and oversee complex, cross-functional engineering and automation programs The Program Manager will oversee multiple Project Managers, ensuring their successful planning, execution, and completion while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires a strong ability to manage deadlines, track progress, and communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders.

The Program Manager is responsible for

• Managing the full program lifecycle - from concept to execution and delivery.
• Leading teams of 30-50 engineers and stakeholders, aligning cross-functional efforts.
• Balancing technical knowledge with strategic leadership - ensuring scope, budget, and milestones are met.

This position is based in Mendon, Utah, and may require 10-25% travel depending on project needs.

Job Duties

Program Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering programs, ensuring alignment between software, electrical, and mechanical teams
• Coordinate program activities within $20M-$90M budgets, ensuring successful delivery.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers to execute strategic program objectives
• Partner with executive leadership, stakeholders, and customers to define and track success metrics.

Program Execution & Agile Practices

• Manage project scope, risks, and priorities while ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Develop and track milestones, schedules, and budgets for highly technical programs.
• Implement Agile, Scrum, and PMI principles to optimize program efficiency.
• Use MS Project, Jira, and Power BI for program tracking, reporting, and stakeholder updates.

Business Development & Strategic Initiatives

• Identify business opportunities within the program scope to drive organizational growth
• Work with internal teams and external partners to propose new solutions and expand program capabilities.
• Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), risk assessments, and financial projections

Experience & Qualifications by Level

Program Manager I

• 1-3 years of experience in program or project management within engineering, software, or technical fields.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (software, electrical, mechanical)
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies (certifications not required).
• Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Power BI preferred.
• Experience in solar and/or construction industry is highly preferred.

Program Manager II

• 3-6 years of experience leading engineering programs or large-scale technical projects.
• Ability to manage program budgets up to $20M
• Strong understanding of PMI and Agile methodologies (PMP certification not required).
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, robotics, automation).
• Experience in solar and/or construction industry is highly preferred.

Program Manager III

• 6-9 years of program management experience, leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience managing $50M+ programs with 30-50 engineers
• Strong background in engineering program leadership, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation
• Experience developing strategic initiatives and business proposals
• Experience in solar and/or construction industry is highly preferred.

Program Manager IV

• 10+ years of program management experience, overseeing enterprise-level technical programs
• Expertise in high-budget, multi-team program execution ($90M+ scope).
• Leadership experience in automation, aerospace, robotics, or large-scale engineering programs
• Proven success in scaling business operations, driving process improvements, and optimizing resource management
• Experience in solar and/or construction industry is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong leadership in engineering-heavy environments - robotics, aerospace, automation, or similar industries
• Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Power BI for program tracking and reporting.
