The Workforce Development Program Manager role oversees a portfolio of initiatives, including external leadership development programs, highly visible internal programs, and division-level adjunct offerings. The position ensures alignment between business needs and training strategies while maintaining high standards for program quality, compliance, and fiscal responsibility. The Program Manager collaborates with stakeholders across all levels of the organization—from field employees to executive leadership and external/public service partners—to deliver effective, data-driven development solutions. Key responsibilities include managing program operations, vendor partnerships, contracts, invoicing, evaluation processes, and performance reporting. This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights that drive workforce capability and organizational success.
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
4 years of experience in coordinating/managing training, workforce development, or organizational development programs, or related work experience (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent) Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
