The Ingram Honors College Program Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-impact programs and advising that strive to launch students into lucrative opportunities, including graduate schools, nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships, internships, and careers. The program manager works to elevate the Ingram Honors College brand and reputation through proactive advising and program implementation across the Honors student body, bringing external recognition to the exemplary talent housed within the college. The program manager is responsible for driving and documenting career-related outcomes for the honors student population.
What you will do:
Develops, refines, and delivers high impact programming including but not limited to the PAC (Personal, Academic, Career) Professional Development Programs, the Graduate Comprehensive Advising Program (Grad CAP), the Leadership in Action (LIA) Fellowship, workshops promoting nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships opportunities, and more
Conducts proactive outreach to the honors population leading to at least 20+ advising appointments per week, encompassing career, graduate school, and national fellowships and scholarships advising
Actively engages with Career Services and employer partners, creating direct pathways for honors students
Accurately documents career, graduate school, and national fellowships and scholarships outcomes
Supports all co-curricular programming under the Leadership in Action (LIA) Institute
Collects and manages data, reports out on student outcomes, and helps to promote the Grad Survey (employment data)

What you will need:
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of student advising experience
Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills
Skillful interpersonal communication and rapport building
Attention to detail, organization, verbal and written communication
Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives and to pivot quickly when priorities shift
Self-starter capable of taking initiative to research opportunities, best practices, new initiatives, etc., and translating them into tangible opportunities for students
Master’s degree in education, psychology, career counseling, or related field
Must pass pre-employment background investigation
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
