
The Infrastructure Group is responsible for the statewide planning, design and delivery of the Department's health infrastructure program. Within the Group, the Programming and Delivery unit leads the planning, design and delivery of Tasmania’s Health Capital Program, overseeing major infrastructure investments across hospitals, community health facilities and health services statewide.
The Department of Health is seeking an accomplished and strategic Program Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse and complex portfolio of major health infrastructure projects that will shape the future of healthcare across Tasmania. Working within a dynamic and high-profile environment, you will engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and provide strategic advice to senior executives, including the Deputy Secretary Infrastructure and members of the Department's Executive.
Reporting to the Director – Programming and Delivery, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and be responsible for leading the delivery of significant capital works initiatives across the Department of Health. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in delivering significant capital investment programs that support contemporary healthcare services and improve outcomes for Tasmanians.
As Program Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic oversight across a portfolio of complex capital projects while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration and excellence in project delivery. You will also provide specialist advice on project delivery, construction industry matters, program scheduling, financial forecasting and risk mitigation to support successful outcomes across the capital works program.

Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

$175,521 to $194,052 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
