The opportunity

In this role, you will help drive operational excellence across Mirvac’s Asset Management platform, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance and risk management practices are embedded across the business. Working closely with stakeholders across Asset Management, Investments and Funds, you will play a key role in delivering governance and compliance initiatives, overseeing audit and risk activities, and supporting the successful delivery of Asset Management SAPs, Budgets and Forecasts.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a diverse range of stakeholders, provide trusted advice, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, enhance compliance outcomes and support the performance of our Asset Management business.

Please note that this is a 12-month maternity leave cover contract.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Senior Manager, Governance & Compliance, coordinate and manage internal, external, financial, co‑owner and regulatory audits, including CSA testing and GS007 audits, and support Asset Management teams in the closure of audit findings.
  • Drive audit readiness across Asset Management, including oversight of tenancy schedule reviews, governance sign‑offs and compliance with PMA obligations.
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset and support Asset Management teams to strengthen governance controls, risk management and compliance outcomes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Asset Management governance procedures, frameworks and documentation, ensuring clear accountability and role clarity.
  • Oversee Control Self‑Assessment (CSA) testing and broader control assurance activities across applicable assets.
  • Manage periodic reviews of tenant transactions, billings and postings to ensure compliance with governance and financial control requirements.
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Governance & Compliance to ensure alignment and effective management of conflicts of interest, Delegations of Authority and enterprise system access (including Yardi, SharePoint and BI).
  • Partner with Asset Management and Group Risk on the ongoing management of Real Estate Licensing obligations, including trust account compliance.
  • Support Asset Management, Finance, Investments and Funds in the coordination and delivery of SAPs, Budgets and Quarterly Reforecast processes.
  • Build strong internal stakeholder relationships and collaborate across teams to deliver governance programs and priority initiatives.
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Governance & Compliance to ensure sound documentation and training materials are established to support understanding of governance processes and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours and foster collaboration across Asset Management and the broader Mirvac Group.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, high performance and continuous improvement, acting as an ambassador for Mirvac’s values.
  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.

About you

You are a professional with at least 5+ years’ experience in property, including Asset Management experience.

You’ll also have:

  • Prior experience in a Governance and Compliance role in the Asset Management industry is essential.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Property Economics, Commerce, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Ability to business partner with a range of internal teams and provide hands-on support
  • Demonstrated experience with audits and governance controls.
  • Experience with Property Management Systems is desirable.
  • Sound ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Hold strong analytical and data skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability in identifying and delivering fast-paced program requirements with strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in fostering effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
