Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold one of the following licenses in Michigan: LMSW, LPC, LLP, or fully licensed Psychologist.
Minimum of five (5) years of full-time casework or therapy experience, including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting.
For clinical programs, at least three (3) years providing therapy to individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
Knowledge of person-centered planning, community-based services, crisis intervention, and transitional planning.
Valid Michigan driver’s license.
Understanding of co-occurring disorders, stages of change, recovery principles, and motivational interviewing.
Experience with vocational and/or housing services preferred.
Knowledge of dual diagnosis standards.
Familiarity with outcome measures for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
Essential Job functions:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for assigned program(s).
Manage daily administrative and operational functions.
Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, licensing, and accreditation standards.
Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate staff; provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
Lead team meetings and conduct regular case reviews to ensure quality care and positive outcomes.
Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders.
Support staff in developing person-centered, strength-based treatment plans that match individuals’ stage of change.
Model and promote Motivational Interviewing and recovery-oriented practices.
Provide outcome-focused, trauma-informed supervision to improve staff performance and individual results.
Monitor program outcomes, budgets, and contractual requirements; implement quality improvement strategies as needed.
Authorize medically necessary services.
Maintain knowledge of evidence-based practices used within the organization.
Collaborate with community partners and service providers to support individuals’ needs.
Support integrated treatment approaches, including medication education, peer support, and self-help resources.
